The Founder
Dan Farrelly — Hicksville Native, 15 Years Experience
Dan Farrelly grew up in Hicksville and spent a decade as a finish carpenter before launching LI Basement Pro in 2011. He saw firsthand how many Long Island homeowners were getting poor service from contractors who didn't understand LI's specific challenges — high water table, clay soil, aging cinderblock foundations, and strict local permit requirements.
"We've done 580 basements on Long Island. We've seen every quirk this soil has." That's not a marketing line — it's the knowledge that comes from a decade and a half of finishing basements in Hicksville, Levittown, Garden City, Commack, and everywhere in between.
